PEB manufacturer in Haryana - Mahawar Prefab Solutions

Pre-Engineered Building Manufacturer in Haryana

Mahawar Prefab Solutions designs, makes and erects pre-engineered buildings (PEB) – factory sheds, warehouses and crane buildings – for sites across Haryana. Everything is fabricated at our plant in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, about 60 km from Ambala and about 300 km from Faridabad by road.

A pre-engineered building is a steel building whose columns, rafters, purlins and sheets are designed for your exact size and loads, made in a factory, and bolted together at site. For a Haryana factory owner, that means the shed goes up faster than a brick-and-concrete (RCC) building, and it can be extended later by adding bays.

We are a ZED Bronze certified MSME ourselves, with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Mahawar Group has been in the iron and steel trade since 1990, and we have made PEB structures since 2021. We understand what an MSME promoter worries about: budget, bank papers and getting production started on time.

PEB buildings we make for Haryana businesses

  • Factory sheds for engineering, auto component and fabrication units, with or without EOT cranes.
  • Warehouses and godowns for logistics parks and distributors along the NH-44, NH-48 and KMP corridors.
  • Crane buildings where the frame is designed for the crane load from day one.
  • Rice mills and cold storage for the paddy belt around Karnal, Kurukshetra and Kaithal.
  • Textile mills and storage halls for Panipat units.
  • Food processing and pharmaceutical units where a clean, open floor with few columns matters.
  • Poultry and animal-husbandry sheds, banquet halls and school buildings.

We also make our own colour-coated roofing sheets, C and Z purlins and accessories at Mandi Gobindgarh. Choose PPGI, PPGL, ZAM or pre-insulated sheets.

Design conditions in Haryana and the codes we follow

A few local conditions shape the design:

  • Wind and dust storms: summer storms across the plains can lift roofing sheets that are badly fixed. The frame, purlins and sheet fixing are designed for the basic wind speed given in IS 875 (Part 3) for your site.
  • Earthquakes: the earthquake (seismic) zone differs from district to district in Haryana. The frame is designed for the zone of your site under IS 1893 (Part 1):2016. BIS withdrew the 2025 revision of this code in March 2026 (as reported), so the 2016 version applies.
  • Heat: summer temperatures are high, so roof insulation, ventilation monitors and turbo vents are worth planning in from the start.
  • Soil and water: some low-lying belts see waterlogging in the monsoon. A soil test helps the civil engineer design the foundations and plinth height.

Steel buildings in India are normally designed to IS 800:2007 (steel design), IS 875 Parts 1, 2 and 3 (dead, imposed and wind loads) and IS 1893 (earthquake loads). Structural steel is now made to IS 2062 (Part 1):2025, the current version of the Indian standard for structural steel. Our process has 25+ quality checkpoints across design, shop fabrication and site work.

Approvals for a factory shed in Haryana (in short)

Approvals depend on where your plot is and what you make. Two Haryana rules are worth knowing:

  • Haryana Building Code 2017: on plots in an industrial plotted colony, the owner can use self-certification. Work may start 15 days after giving notice if no objection is conveyed, along with a certificate of conformity and structural safety (Form BRS-II). Plots outside such colonies follow the normal sanction route. Check the latest amended Code with your architect.
  • Haryana Right to Business Act 2026: passed by the Vidhan Sabha on 1 September 2026 and notified in the e-gazette on 18 September 2026. It covers Udyam-registered MSME manufacturing units, new or expanding. The district nodal agency must issue an in-principle approval (CIPA) or reject within 15 working days, with a deemed approval route if it does not. Inspections are paused for 36 months from the approval, except on complaint or for issues such as unauthorised construction, land-use violation or structural and fire safety.

Neither rule lets you build against the master-plan land use. Fire safety and factory plan approval still apply. If you are taking a bank loan, banks often ask for the approved building plan and construction estimates. Our guide to MSME loans for factory shed construction explains the papers and the schemes in plain words.

Government incentives for new factories in Haryana (2026)

Haryana changed its industrial policy in 2026. The Make in Haryana Industrial Policy, 2026 was notified on 26 May 2026 and replaced the Haryana Enterprises & Employment Policy 2020 (HEEP 2020). As summarised by Grant Thornton, this policy is only for large, mega and ultra-mega units (investment above Rs 125 crore). Old HEEP 2020 rates should not be quoted as current.

MSMEs fall under a separate Haryana Progressive MSME & Export Promotion Policy 2026. News reports say it offers a capital subsidy of 15-30%, up to Rs 4 crore. We have not seen the official notification yet, so check the notified text with the Industries & Commerce Department before you count on it. Whether building cost is eligible is also not yet clear. Central support such as the CGTMSE guarantee (up to Rs 10 crore for micro and small units, cgtmse.in) may also help. Separately, the Union Cabinet approved a Rs 10,000 crore SME Growth Fund on 6 October 2026 (PIB). It will give equity (an ownership stake, not a loan) to growing small and medium manufacturers through an AIF – a privately pooled investment fund registered with SEBI. The fund manager and how to apply are not yet announced; details awaited. In every case, the bank decides what it finances. Read our state-by-state summary: state subsidy for a factory shed in 2026.

Indicative price for a PEB shed in Haryana

As a rough guide, our published figure for a PEB warehouse is about Rs 300-400 per sq ft (as of 2026). On that basis a 10,000 sq ft shed comes to about Rs 30-40 lakh. The real price depends on span, height, crane load, roofing sheet, insulation, steel prices on the day of order, and how far the site is from our plant. GST is extra – generally 18% (confirm with your CA). When you compare quotes, check whether civil work and foundations are included. See our warehouse PEB cost guide for what drives the cost.
